Yellow Pay-As-You-Throw Trash Bags
Residents must purchase special yellow trash bags to dispose of their trash. Bags come in two sizes and are priced as follows:

The price to purchase the yellow pay-as-you-throw trash bags, required by residents to dispose of their household trash at the Recycling and Transfer Station, has increased as of October 1st, 2024. A roll of 10 small bags has increased from $10.75 to $11.60 and a roll of 10 large bags has increased from $20.00 to $21.60. Bags may be purchased in town at Roche Brothers, Sudbury Farms, Needham General Store, Volante Farms, and Needham Garden & Hardware. The Recycling and Transfer Station sells rolls of large bags only. The increased cost of the bags is a result of the steady rise of the cost to process the Town’s trash.

Recycling Bins
Recycling bins are available for $5.00 at the Public Service Administration Building - DPW Admin, 500 Dedham Avenue, during office hours.
