About the Quiet Zone Working Group
The Quiet Zone Working Group was established by the Select Board in 2023. The group will provide input to the Town in the selection of a consultant for the Quiet Zone Refresh Project, and provide input and guidance to the selected consultant during the course of the study.
The Quiet Zone Working Group will:
- Provide input and feedback to the Town Manager and Select Board relative to the quiet zone feasibility refresh project.
- Serve as the evaluation committee for the selection of a consultant.
- Serve as a resource to the consultant with respect to the development of the study and final report.
- Make recommendation to the Select Board regarding next steps in this project.

The Quiet Zone Working Group consists of six members appointed by the Select Board. Each will serve through the end of FY2024.
