Demolition of the field house began in mid-July 2018. The park, including the memorials, walking path, athletic fields, and gazebo will remain open during construction. Parking will be limited during construction, but overflow parking may utilize the upper parking lot at Rosemary Recreation Complex. Portable restrooms are in place during the warmer months.
It is expected that the new building will be complete in late June 2019, in time for Needham's celebrations for the 4th of July.
