Total Tax Levy
The tax levy is the amount of revenue a community can raise through real estate and personal property taxes. The total tax levy for the fiscal year 2025 is $192.4 million. This is approximately $7.9 million, or 4.3%, more than the fiscal year 2024.
The increase in the levy is comprised of the allowable Proposition 2 1 / 2 percent increase, growth in the tax base from new construction and the impact of debt exclusions.
