Pursuant to Chapter 193 of the Acts of 2004, the Town of Needham through its Permanent Public Building Committee, requests qualifications from General Contractors and subcontractors for the Emery Grover Building Renovation Project, 1330 Highland Ave. Needham MA 02494. The Awarding Authority invites pre-qualifications, pursuant to M. G. L. Chapter 149, Sections 44D1/2 of General Contractors and Section 44D3/4 of subcontractors. The following are the sub-trades for which qualification packages are being requested:

Masonry

Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron

Waterproofing, Damp-proofing, Caulking

Roofing and Flashing

Glass and Glazing

Tile

Acoustical Tile

Resilient Floors

Painting

Elevators

Fire Protection

Plumbing

Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning

Electrical

This request for qualifications (RFQ) will be used to pre-qualify General Contractors and trade subcontractors who will be invited to submit bids pursuant to Massachusetts General Law Chapter 149 as amended by Chapter 193 of the Acts of 2004. 

The estimated cost of construction is: $14,700,000

Statements of Qualifications in response to this RFQ shall be signed under the pains and penalties of perjury. All responses submitted after this time will not be accepted.
