2023 DOG LICENSES ON SALE

BEGINNING JANUARY, 2023

2023 dog licenses will be on sale in the Town Clerk’s Office again in early January, 2023

 This year there are three options to license your dog:        

  1. ONLINE: you can now go online at https://townforms.com/TownForms/public/Login/BusinessUserLogin.aspx?ch=3930C0B8E3FFCE80CB6470631ED25951.
  2. IN PERSON: you can license your dog in person at the Town Clerk’s Office, 1471 Highland Avenue, Needham, MA by cash, check or credit card. 
  3. BY MAIL:  you can license your dog by mail (application included in Annual Town Census mailing).  Please complete the dog application and include your check made payable to the Town of Needham, current proof of rabies vaccination, spay/neuter certificate or Veterinarian notation on rabies certificate along with a self-addressed stamped envelope, and mail to Town Clerk’s Office, 1471 Highland Avenue, Needham, MA 02492: OR drop it off in the red drop box in front of the Town Hall.                                                                                                   

                                                                        

 2023 Dog License Fees:

             $25      Male/Female dogs       

            $20      Neutered/Spayed dogs

            $50      1 – 4 dogs Kennel licenses

            $75      5 – 10 dogs Kennel Licenses

            $150    10+ dogs Kennel Licenses

             All dogs who are six months of age or older must be licensed annually under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 140 and Article 4 of the Town of Needham’s General By-Laws.  An updated proof of rabies vaccination is required prior to licensing as well as proof of spaying and neutering.  Incomplete applications will be returned to the sender.
