The Park and Recreation Commission and Department provides year-round recreation opportunities and leisure services for Needham residents of all ages. The goal is to provide opportunities that are safe and fun, and promote healthy living.

The GREENE'S FIELD PLAYGROUND, on Pickering Street, is CLOSED!  Temporary fencing has been put up around the structure until the wooden structure can be removed this summer as it can no longer be repaired and be kept safe.  Children should not be assisted over the temporary fencing to be given access to the playground.
