Town-wide Water Main Flushing
The Water Division will continue flushing water mains via hydrants. Flushing operations are weather permitting; this work is scheduled for the overnight hours of 11 PM - 7 AM.  To view the tentative schedule and for more information, please visit: www.needhamma.gov/hydrantflushing

Central Ave Sidewalk Rehabilitation (from Forest Street to Nehoiden Street)
Sidewalk installation is complete. Hydro-seeding scheduled for 5/25/19. 

Paving: Rae Ave, Fairfax Road, Morley Road & Edgewood Street
Paving is complete. Hydro-seeding scheduled fior 5/25/19. 

Central Ave Sidewalk Rehabilitation (from West Street to Hunnewell)
A Town hired contractor will begin removing and replacing asphalt sidewalks and installing granite curbing on the eastbound side of Central Ave. Expect minor delays. 

Winding River Road Sewer Main & Pump Station Project
Sewer main installation will continue on Winding River Road. Winding River Road will not be accessible from Charles River Street. Please access Winding River Road from Livingston Road in Wellesley.  

Winding River Road will be open to RESIDENTS ONLY, expect delays.   

Alden Road Sewer Pump Station
The sewer pumping station located on Alden Road is currently undergoing renovations for the installation of a new pumping well. Residents located in the neighborhoods of Alden Road, Pilgrim Road & Stockdale Road will notice construction related traffic and minor noise interruptions. Any questions or concerns should be directed to Steve Nadeau, Needham Engineering Department at #781-455-7550 Ext. 319. 

MBTA Tree Trimming and Clearing along the Right-of-Way
An MBTA hired contractor will continue to trim and clear trees along their right-of-way in Needham. See attached notice from the MBTA that has been sent to abutters. Any questions about this project should be directed to the MBTA Customer Service line at #617-222-3200.
