  1. Needham to Arlington Walk

    For those up to the challenge, join your fellow residents on Saturday, April 22, to walk the 12.6-mile route from Needham to Arlington, following in the footsteps of the Needham militia that marched to Arlington on April 19, 1775, to engage the British retreating from the battle of Lexington. The walk begins at 9 am from Townsend Green in Needham. The walkers should arrive at the Jason Russell House in Arlington, where the battle took place, around 1 pm. Participants will need to arrange their own transportation home. Registration is required to participate. The registration fee is $30. Registration is not complete until you have submitted both payment and the N2A Registration and Indemnification form.     Needham drug take back day will take on Saturday, April 22 10AM-2PM at the Needham Public Safety Building. We will accept: Unused and expired prescription and over the counter drugs. We will NOT accept: Needles, thermometers, inhalers, medical waste or illegal drugs. Needle disposal is available at the Needham RTS.
