All dogs need to be licensed by April 30th.

Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 140 and the Town of Needham’s General By-Laws,  Section 4.1.4 and, provides a $50 fine for unlicensed dogs.  This is the “Warning” to owners of unlicensed dogs as of April 30th.      

The unlicensed dog fine will be issued to ALL unlicensed dogs on May 15th.  

License your dog:

• At the Town Clerks Office (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

COST: 

• $20 per dog - if neutered or spayed 
• $25 per dog - intact (not neutered or spayed) 
• Kennels:  1-4 dogs - $50, 5-10 dogs - $75, over 10 dogs - $150
