Beginning Monday, February 1st, individuals 75+ will be eligible to receive the Covid-19 vaccine. Those individuals can begin registering for appointments on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 for February 1st or later. You can find vaccination locations and register for appointments here: https://www.mass.gov/info-details/covid-19-vaccine-locations-for-individuals-in-phase-1
Please note: The Town of Needham was notified by the Commonwealth that local health departments will only receive 100 doses of the Moderna vaccine per week through at least the month of February. If Needham Public Health receives its doses, it will open a clinic each Saturday evening at 5 pm. You can register for a clinic at that time here: https://www.maimmunizations.org/.
Given the limited doses, you are encouraged to try to book an appointment at another location. You can find a list of locations on the state’s website: https://www.mass.gov/info-details/covid-19-vaccine-locations-for-individuals-in-phase-1. Individuals must present proof of their eligibility to receive the vaccine. Some sites require individuals to attest to their eligibility as part of the online appointment scheduling process. All other sites will accept the Commonwealth’s Self Attestation form, which can be filled out online. Residents should be prepared to present this form in a hard copy or electronically at their appointment.
Phase 1 eligible residents may also register for appointments using the state’s website.
