The Needham Board of Selectmen requests applications from residents to serve on the Solid Waste and Recycling Advisory Committee.
The Solid Waste and Recycling Advisory Committee (SWRAC) reviews proposals for changes to general user fees and charges prepared by the Town and makes recommendations to the Board of Selectmen as to whether such proposed rates are adequate to sustain the services to be provided, reviews existing and/or proposed policies and procedures for residential and commercial disposal and makes recommendations to the Department of Public Works or to the Board of Selectmen regarding changes.
