COVID-19 UPDATE
Reporting Past Crimes and Firearm Licensing
The Needham Police Department will continue to respond to emergency calls for service, as well as crime in progress calls without delay. Please call 911 if you have an emergency.
The Needham Police Department is modifying its response to non-emergency calls for the time being. This is necessary to limit public safety exposure to COVID-19 and to minimize further spreading of the disease. We ask for your understanding and cooperation at this time as we attempt to limit the number of people who come into the Police Lobby to report past crimes. Please call the Police Department (781-455-7570) to report a past crime that does not require immediate assistance.
Firearm licensing renewals will also be done by mail on a temporary basis. Please call 781-455-7570 ext. 241 with any questions you have about Firearms Licensing. We will not provide fingerprinting services for any other reason during this temporary change.
