As we enter flu season during the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s important to understand the differences and similarities between COVID-19 and influenza. Learn more about the symptoms of each here:

Along with getting the flu vaccine, there are things you can do to protect yourself and others from both influenza and COVID-19:

  • Stay 6 feet away from others and wear masks in public spaces;
  • Stay home from work, school, and errands when you are sick. You will help prevent others from catching your illness.
  • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. It may prevent those around you from getting sick.
  • Wash your hands and avoid touching your face.
  • Call your healthcare provider if you feel you have any signs or symptoms of Influenza or COVID-19.
