Use of Courts

• Courts will be used on a first come, first served basis. All users must be Needham residents with a valid Tennis Badge. 
• Badge holders may not operate Private Lesson Business on courts.
• Only the game of tennis is permitted on the courts.
• In-line skates, roller skates, and skateboards are not a permitted use. The courts are not to be used for practice space for any non-tennis sport.

Keep Our Courts Beautiful

All litter and debris created during the use of the courts must be removed at the end of use. Please remove all water bottles and tennis ball cans and caps prior to leaving the courts.

Guests
One (1) guest is allowed per adult badge holder. The badge holder must supervise the guest at all times. 

Maintenance

There is no staff designated to clean or sweep courts. Please call 781-455-7930 to report the need for repairs.

Waiting for Use of Courts

Change over on courts will be on the hour, quarter past the hour, half past the hour, and quarter to the hour. Appropriate designation has been posted at each court. If players are waiting to use a court, the group at the designated time must clear the court, whether an hour has passed or not.

Adults have priority use of the courts after 6 PM. Players, ages 15 and under, shall yield the courts if adults are waiting to play, unless playing tennis with an adult at the time.

The Park and Recreation Commission reserves the right to modify these rules when it is in the best interest of the public to do so, and to suspend the seasonal badge of any individual who does not abide by the rules.
